Thanks, good try DrL' but the "authorities" in the sand pit have that route blocked as well! I still get through easily to any site (so far!) usin' virtualbrowser.

Well, I've tried that virtual browser.... it's shit!
Half of the time it doesn't work or it blocks half of the images.
Have you tried:

There are tons of websites which are not blocked without the 'www'.... at least if you use a real ISP like True.

Both of your suggestions and virtualbrowser are now blocked by the "authorities" here. I can still get through on ebypass and defilter but it wont be long before they're assimilated into the borg!

Dunno if this helps anyfolk but I happened to try a very long (deep?) URL to access an internet site that was previously off limits to me and hey presto I got through!
Also I've noticed on some occasions that if I have 4 or more access points open to the internet from my PC (I use Firefox and IE) at the same time then I can get through to the off limits site. It means everything is a bit slow but it does work sometimes.
Is there an explanation or have I entered the twilight zone of Barred Internet Sites?

PS: Thevirtualbrowser is blocked by the government here if I try to use it from work (broadband) but I was able to get through yesterday on my dial up at home!
