Yeah, I love the stock market - it's so emotional and irrational. The entire market is dropping because of yet another panicked outlook. I sold a bunch of AAPL at $422, and am now waiting for it to hit around $375-$360 before picking up a bunch of free extra shares on the rebound. Agreed - it's a matter of having better things to spend money on. One of the issues I have with Android phones is how quickly their manufacturers orphan them... and the ones who bought them. Over 90% of Android devices do not receive updates from their manufacturers, or take forever to receive them. If you want your smartPhone to remain viable, then iPhone is currently your only option. Apple just released iOS 5 - and it was available nearly simultaneously to iPhone users across the world the same day it was released. My nearly 3 year old iPhone 3GS updated to it, as did my iPhone 4. Apple currently appears to support iPhone models with firmware updates for up to 3 years, meaning that not only does your initial smartPhone receive newer and better features throughout your ownership, and you also often receive performance improvements, but your original investment last throughout your ownership, if not actually gains in value.
