I'm heading out to LOS at the end of September. I do a fair bit of Internet gambling at home but I understand that gambling is illegal in LOS, does anyone know of any ways round this if I take my Lap top with me?

There is nothing to stop you internet gambling as long as your site is not blocked by a local ISP. Many sites are on a government inspired list (available on the internet somewhere) which all local ISPs are supposed to block.
You can get around this by connecting to an international ISP but that would be expensive.
The majority of internet gambling sites are accessible in Thailand.
The main way the Thai government stops Thais from using internet gambling sites is to restrict the flow of funds to these sites from people based in Thailand.
In short, you will not have any insurmountable problems.

I just hope that i'm lucky with both my p4p'ing and gambling, otherwise i'll be coming home pissed off and broke.

The one thing I miss living here is...poker. I get my fix on internet poker and of the 4 sites I use, 3 of them I can access from LOS> ANd one of those also does casino games (not for me) write m eif you want any of those sites
