I found the cheapest online rates at:

Next to a message place, across from a construction site.
Only 40 baht/hr. Get a card, when you've accumulated 9 hours of on-line time, you get one hour free.
No AC, just a fan. But, if you spend a few hours online,
savings mount up when compared to 2 baht/min most places charge.
Anybody know any place cheaper?

It can get as low as 15B an hour....but there is little point in getting a cab all the way to the suburbs to save that cash....I know I paid 7B a while ago to sit in a cafe near On Nut BTS....it was embarrassing paying the bill

I am still shedding copious tears over that demolition of SukSquare, venue of many a happy event. To come back to the main topic of cheap internet access, the demolished Suk Square itself had a chep internet cafe offering 45 Baht an hour -- I think that cafe was called Rush Hour -- it was airconditioned and had broadband access which is what really matters when you compare rates. No point in paying so-called low rates and spending double the time when a little higher upfront rate will get you blazing speeds at another place. Also, the Post Office offers Catnet services which work out fairly cheap. Recently I paid 150 Baht for a card which offered me about 300 minutes of surfing time at any Catnet booth. Don't know if that card is still on offer, but I still have some balance left on my card which is valid for a year I think. If any bro is interested and can spend a few extra thousands to fly via my city I can give you the balance hours on my card free of charge. Just PM me !

Was paying about 20B an hour over in Suan Luang (north of Onnut BTS) near my TGF's apartment. Her's is a mostly Thai (and Thai muslim) neighborhood, hence the prices. (Have yet to see a farang in their neighborhood market.)
