Before I came on this trip I purchased a mabile phone in Canada from a dealer there, they knew I was coming to Thailand and assured me it would work here. I get here, go to buy a SIM card and I AM SHIT OUT OF LUCK, it does not work here. So I decide to buy one here, way less than I paid for the one back home.
It works almost everywhere and clear as a bell when I call back to Canada or USA. I am leaving on Thursday 13 Feb. and would like to sell this new phone to somebody who may need it, you will get the following.
1-Nokia GSM phone
1-Wall charger, works in LOS without power converter.
1-Protective cover with belt clip
1-Unregistered SIM card with your own Thai number
500 Baht in calling credit, local calls are 5B/min, incoming calls, even from overseas are free.
Know what your number will be before you arrive here so you can leave it at home for an emergency contact or for business purposes. I am selling this phone for what I paid for it, I can ship it from Canada to the USA when I get back or make arrangements for you to pick it up in BKK if you so choose. You can keep a number current if you are here about every 4-5 months after that your time will expire and so will the phone number.
The phone is a Nokia 3310 and I want 5000 B (includes the number and SIM card or $120.00 USD.

just a Big thank you to all you Bros. have put all the things I have read in the last 12 months and it has all worked a treat. I nearly got a thai stewartesse on the plane ,but the bloddy purser got in the way. very tired after flight. but had a hair cut and massage that some one advised and in the pink Mucho graias.
