does not support international SMS
My TG has 1,2 Call
She is FOB and does not do email
Any suggestions to sms via net??
(tried solutions from the search engin, could not get them to work)

Use http://www.ipipi.com Not free but does work. You can sms from there web page but also from you own phone. Also she can sms back I think. At least I have gotten an sms back from a 1-2-call person in Thailand after sms them.

Have looked into similar services with the U.S. cell providers. Found plenty that offered SMS International but only to about 20 different countries. Not Thailand. Places like England, Germany....Japan I think but not Thailand. My suggestion. Use net2phone and get a card. You can call Thailand for.18 cents per minute to a cellphone and.08 to a landline. Much better to talk to her in person and probably less expensive. She doesn't pay for a SMS and you don't pay except for the call. Just my two satang. You can also keep your sim card from Thailand and call before you leave LOS and have it set up for International roaming. You can then receive SMS from her but unfortunately can not return the SMS. My friend in Phuket sends me a sms just about every other day and I receive it in Atlanta on my Thai Sim card.

Dump Cingular.
Get T-Mobile.
Easy to send SMS, including to Thailand. 15 cents per SMS.
Gets there and you can receive as well.

Doesn't that mean your Thai girl will have you cell number? Not something everyone wants. Does your white girl ever answere your phone?
That is why I use http://www.ipipi.com as often I forward my cell phone to the office. Wouldn't look good if a thai girl phoned and asked for beamer

but I own my own shop, answer my own cell
and if the fat white broad answered, so what!
(she is NOT fat, but compared......)
