I was just wondering if the internet cafe's let you email pictures home from your camera. The problem may arise when you ask to hook up you digital camera to their computer and then transfer the pictures to their hard drive and then to email. Has anyone done this?

Many internet cafes in BKK have the facility to download pics from your digital camera's memory card to a PC. So, yes you can. I have done it before (they even made me a CD with my pics on).
The internet cafe I used is on soi 11/1, but there are loads of them around that will do this for you.

It's a bitch sending pictures over the internet with an upload speed of 64/128 kb ... it takes forever ... or anybody know of an internetcafe with higher speeds?

I have two 64 meg cards for my Sony P5, and that should be enough (I am buying another 256meg card), but the fact is that the digital camera I have takes videos and I am kinda kinky like that so I was thinking of maybe emailing them home, but the better option is to just have the file burnt onto a cd. The camera is great, but when you do video mode it really fills up the memory card.

same here ... i've got a 128 mb card which fills up about twice a day ... now i put 'em on my laptop but it's a bit of a hassle tugging my laptop along all the time ... i there is a internetcafe with an uploadspeed of say 512 mb then i could just upload/mail 'em home ...
