Knowing the technology it is very unlikely.
There is a black market for the analogue CATV black boxes which would let you watch UBC in Bangkok. But digital TV either cable or Satellite is another matter.

I am talking about Digital Satellite TV (DSTV). You have a receiver with a slot for a smart card. It's the first country where I dont see this smart cards with total access being sold under the table somewhere. Normaly there are even webpages with the lastest decrypting codes if you want to program your own card at home.
Just curious whether somebody knows anything.

At one time the cards, programmers and conditional access modules were available in Bkk and Phuket. When the encryptions changed to Irdeto2, Viaccess2 and Seca2 that pretty much eliminated the business. These new encryptions have not been "hacked" to my knowledge.

I asked around in the shopps were I buy my "black boxe" and they should know. They say no one have done it. There is how ever away to see all cabels channels trough internet now. I will look for the link.
