I know my card is only good for about 90 days. Never had a 1-2 call card last 12 months. I add minutes from the U.S. to keep it active. LS

When you buy an update it also says on the card a number of days 300B - 30 days 500B - 50 days This is time added to your validity period At first it will extend up to one year Then after a while, don't know how long or how it is established, it will then extend up to two years One of my SIM's is shown as valid until May 2007 The other is valid until October 2006. Whether there is a time when they will extend past 2 years I do not know, I've had my main SIM since August 2002.

The activity period as given thru the Call center or IVR is good as long as you periodically recharge you account. Any given account got disconnected after 90 days of innactivity (meaning no recharge) regardless of credit expiry date. A simple recharge after this 90 days period will switch on your account and the previous credit would be available in addition to the amount you just recharged. You number gets erased from the database after an inactivity period of approx 12 months then there is no getting back this number neither the credit. Hope it helps

I managed to get up to 1 year, after charging the card to about 1,500 B. It wouldn't go beyond the 12 months (as mentioned by Bangkok Chang).

Untrue, mine are valid up to two years ahead and have been left for 8 months, without use, twice since I left and do not become inactive.

1-2-Call now has about 10 different promotions, with various expiration dates and costs. One program (Nhan nann) gives you 30 days extention for only 100 baht (and a 30 baht/month service charge). Anyway, AIS emailed me a file explaining all the costs and terms of the promotions. For the benefit of all, I converted the file into html and put it on the web here: http://www.geocities.com/one_2_call_info/1-2-call-31-May-2005.htm These promotions were in place on May 31, 2005 (NahnNann begins 30 June). I do not know when each expire.
