What is the best software that can rip copyrighted DVD movies? The one I currently have wont even let me rip pirated DVDs from Panhtip. Where is the justice?

To be hounest I stop buying DVD's from places like that.
Down load the real version of emule off the internet and get all the movies for free.
If you have a high speed connection in your home. Connected to emule and get all the movies you want.
Hi picture quality for the most and if you have a few movies on your hard dirvie your ranking goes through the roof so you can get loads of down loads quick. I remeber I down loaded star wars ep III the same russian version that you get from phantip in 3 hours free.

To rip copyrighted, I used DVD Decryptor. Free online.
If it is a single layer disc, straight burn from there.
It it is dual layer I use DVD Shrtink also free online to remove unwanted soundtracks, subtitles etc and then it reduces the quality to make it fit. Creates the image on your HDD and then burn from there.
Had excellent results each and every time.

Tyler asked about the ability to RIP commercail DVDs, not where to download movies from.
On the Mac, the best software is Fast DVD Copy. One mouseclick does it all. Read the disk, remves copy protection and region coding, and burns a copy on a blank DVD.

Download DVD shrink. A good user guide is available on http://www.doom9.org. I've burned hundreds of movies, many encrypted, using DVD Shrink to encode and Nero to burn.
Tip: buy a DVD ROM for about US $30-40 and you can use it for encoding and DVD shrink will automatically switch to your DVD burner and start burning. You can start the process up, go out for a bite and your movie will be there when you come back.

DVDShrink all the way.... Although a program from 321 studios (DVDCopy Gold) does the job very well.
It is no longer legally avalable though.... You might find it in Pantip.
BTW UkSnugger is lying. Downloads on any p2p network is Thailand is very slow.... even on broadband.
It simply can't be done....

I use two programs that will burn any movie and take off the copyright and the region coding. The first one is any dvd. It runs in the background so you don't have to do anything. It automatically takes the copyright and region off any disc you insert into your computer. You then run clonedvd2 which is a great program. You can buy these on the net, download them from emule or you can buy them at pantip. Trust me you won't be sorry you used these. great..

Decryptor and DVD Shrink are the ultimate solution. You can find both programs in the net. Make sure that you download the newest version of Decryptor or otherwise you will have problems with some of the new movies.

Why wont the (ripped) DVDs play on my laptop but will play on the home DVD? Is there some option needed to click before ripping?
