Hello,
my wife is just abord a plane Bagkok-bound to spend a vacation in Thailand. She bought a 1-2-call SIM in eBay but has no documentation at all.
On a discussion the airport I found out that she does not have any information on
- how to access her voice mailbox (what number to call)
- does not know to what number to divert calls to get them end up on her voice mailbox
- what the message center number is, she should have programmed on her mobile to send / receive SMS
Tried many search engines in the web, but either they did not find anything or the information is in Thai and my entire Thai is "swatdee krap/sawetdee kaa" ;-).
Is there someone who can help? Thank you in advance

1-2 Call simcard on Ebay?
Was she afraid there won't be any in Thailand available?
1 - Dial '*121#' to see if there is any deposit and if yes, until how long it's valid (it's in English). Add seven days to that date and you have the date you can't use the simcard anymore if you don't refill it.
Then use bkktonight's search engine for 1-2-call. There are quite a few threads in 'Shopping'.
Alternatively, buy a new simcard for a couple of hundred baht at MBK with documentation (although I think in Thai only).

I have the documentation in English with mine.
All menus you listen to can be switched...forget how, but it wasn't hard.

Thanks @ DrLove for the input and
big grin, no it wasn't the fear that she won't get one in Thailand, but to know a phone number in advance under which she can be reached in Thailand ;-).
There was very little deposit left, but it should be valid to the end of the year. And it was cheap ;-).
But there are the handling uncertainties as described above. She doesn't want to have callers end up on her voice mailbox when she is not reachable and not being able to access these voice recordings.
As a workaround I SMS'ed her to use the GSM code ##004# to disable all diverting. Not sure yet if she got that SMS though.
