FYI.......those with prepaid DTAC (HAPPY) can call *1021 and you will reach a thai that can speak english and help translate if you are trying to communicate with a thai or just need help.........good idea for newbies and others. I tried it and the girl actually spoke good english!
On the other hand.......how bout those I Love Farang....Can Speak english on taxis??? Yea.. right.

lol, love those "I Love Farang" signs in the taxis. Whenever I get into one with my TGF, I point to the sign and say to her, "Okay, time for pasa Angrit lesson! What this say?"
Her usual reply, with a smirk, is, "I Hate Farang, Go Home!" to which I reply, "Good English!"
Who says these ladies don't understand sarcasm, lol!?
