Anybody know of in-room wireless in hotel rooms in a 3 star hotel? So many in 5 star, as found from doing search on this site. Found Menam Riverside Hotel (4 star?) for $50/nite off season + extra $10/nite for in room wireless, but am looking for something cheaper. Must be in-room wireless. Thanks.

I have no idea how many stars it is, but Town Lodge (end of Suk Soi 18) has wireless. I was there when they were putting it in and testing it. Standard room 1200bt, deluxe with Jacuzzi 2900.
No idea about price though. Got to ask RTB about that.

I found an unsecured free wireless connection useable in the lobby and outside of the Amari (opp. Foodland Soi 5)
There's free Wirless in the lobby of the Landmark (pay for it in the rooms) and in the basement (bakery cafe). I keep an old Landmark key card that I leave on the table so I don't get queries from passing staff.
Majestic Suites have in-room wifi (not free) - prices quoted on another thred - UTSE)
Marriott near Nana has/had free wifi - I used to sit in the Starbucks opposite and use it (distinct from the usual Starbucks pay system). One day it asked me login so it may no longer be open access, didn't have time to investigate.
There's another free hotspot near the 'pub' on the South side of Suk between Nana Sua and the Marriott - may belong to the pub (name?) or the club next to it. neither were open on the morning I stumbled across it, so couldn't investigate further.
No wifi signals in BeirGarten, Soi7 8^ ( That would be sooooooo cool.....

Baht 700 two pax. Wi-Fi up to parts of 5th floor & in lobby. Breakfast voucher. And free bbbjcim from receptionists (only joking).
Need to take taxis as nothing walkable except 7/11 & limited Thai food nearby.
