Does anybody know if DSL is available in the LOS? Do you know the cost of it and if so are only certain areas covered so far? I have been using DSL in KOrea for 2 years and the thought of going back to a 56k modem is a step down from Hary Kary!

HAVE SEARCHED FOR INFO AND FOUND VERY LITTLE IN PAST THREADS.. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT HOTELS IN PATTAYA HAVE HOOKUP FOR INTERNET IN ROOMS AND ANY THAT MIGHT HAVE DSL THANKS

I am a past subscriber to Loxinfo's ISDN service, which sucked. Customer support was awful, modem config a hassle.... etc.
I currently use KSC's "M-web" service, which has been troublefree. The cost is 2K/mo. More info available here.

If you use Asiacom for your telephone service they have DSL that you can get.. three different speeds and higher prices as you get faster..
one problem you are limited to 40 hours of non Thai internet service for the fee..

M-Web seems to have a new promotion: THB 999 for 128/64 service.
But only the Int. link is available during the night. Kind of useless, I think. Or you might change your habit.. sleep during the day, surf during the night.
