I want to get my GF's 7 year old son a Nintendo DS for his birthday--its $129 in New York- any idea if this is available in BKK and its price--- also the games are around $30 here- but I read many games are developed in Thailand but no one wants to pay for them ???? Assume its like the movies and cds in Potpong market--- any help much appreciated- assume a 7 yr old boy will love? are there games in Thai language? GF knows little enough English- her son knows zero----------------

You should be able to get the Multi-Game Cartridge that allows you to download games from there Website plus comes with 30+ games. It will be around the 2-3K Baht price! Pantip had them some months back!

OZ- thank you- saw the Pantip sight- its in Thai- I know maybe 200 words in Thai and can't even begin to read it---- the e-bay sight is a savings but not that much on the machine (most listings throw in a few games which is a big savings) but if I could get the Game Cartridge my problems are over-------------maybe ill buy machine and wait till I get there to order cartridge again thanks

OOOPS- you say download- they live 45 minutes outside of Ubon Ratchathani- she doesnt even know someone with a computer- do you need a hot spot or computer to use this system?????????????

The Cartridge a friend got a few weeks back already had 35 Games (most where recent titles!), plus a Web Address to get more. 35 Games for a little over 2K Baht is a bargain, most of the originals are over 1K each!
