Looking for a reputable firm in Bangkok who are licensed, registered & legally established to perform IT audit of existing internal LAN/Server and systems.
Do not want one-man-band freelance farrang ! (no offence to anyone but we're an ISO company so it has to be done properly)
By audit I mean check configurations and hardware etc and recomend solutions to any possible problems, we're located in Soi Chidlom, 6 staff.
Can anybody recomend a good firm that can do this ?

May be able to get a lead on an IT auditor by contacting the Bangkok chapter of ISACA. They should be able to point you to CISA certified individuals and/or auditing firms.

While no offense is taken, you may want to rethink this a little. I do this sort of project occasionally (mainly in the states) and been hired 5 times in the past year to complete the audits that other companies have started but not handled properly.... At this moment, I am going over the so-called audit and summary findings from a firm and will likely spend 20-30 hours rewriting the report to meet the customers needs.
Most companies I find do a mediocre job (IMHO) and because you're an ISO company has little if any relevance on how they do their work.
The issue is not with the farang vs. the local company.... First it will be whether you have clearly identified and detailed your requirements. Do you have this in writing? If not, get it done before you get a vendor in.
Are you trying to get a handle only the IT side of things? Are you looking for (in US terms) SOX or HIPAA compliance like audits or one of the ISO standard for security (ISO 27000), etc. I know you mention the IT configs but the co-dependencies (of the audit) can run deep that I why it needs to be clear.
If you do not have this clear, then do not expect 99% of the companies to do the job you need or want
That 1% will then charge you accordingly to do your work and theirs in performing the necessary audit. (that is sure as hell what I do)
I am in the middle of 3 audits now for different companies. All said the same thing... they want an "audit" but they did not know what they meant by that. Internal services, perimeter control, vulnerability testing, etc, etc, etc.
With all that said.....if you are really hell bent on a local company that is professional and will provide a CYA approach, call IBM Thailand professional services. I have worked with some of their people and a few are good. More importantly, they have a professional "playbook" they use with boilerplate reports to deal with many compliance issues.
Otherwise, there are some low cost s/w tools that will run against your system to generate system profiles and pull a lot of the core data off the machine(s) and the server software configurations. You can then drill down in these reports to pinpoint a large percentage of the common problems.
