Hi all
A word of warning to you guys out there (or advice on how to spy on your GF's!!!)
I have just found out that my (no ex UK GF) has payed some guy $50 to succesfully crack my personal and work hotmail passwords, so for the last 2 weeks she has been able to read and send out emails using my account.................
After a bit of google its really common and easy to do, so all you guys be carefull.....

There are software programs for Crackers, notably Munga Bunga's HTTP Brute Forcer (really) and others. Best to be a programmer to use, and brute force means running through a cracker's dictionary list of possible combinations as fast as your computer can churn until it connects. Obviously not successful if that password is not in the extensive dictionary.
More simply though, the services of one particular 'professional' Hotmail & Yahoo Cracker is available at http://bboard.scifi.com/bboard/browse.cgi/4/1/625
He charges $100 a pop: You send e-mail address to crack - if successful he sends proof - you send $100 - he sends password.
Common? Probably. Easy? I suspect only if you're a programmer or get one to show you the workings.
Suspect VJ could do it - in between devising equations for every possibility in life. ;- ) Yes?

There is another trick that the hackers employ, and that is to hit on the "password hint". It could save some time compared to the brute force method.

i have done a search and many sites say its just a scam and cant be done on the web, but can be done on outlook expess and where your password is hiddeen behind........ on a sign in page...
so tell us how she did it and we can find out if our GFs are cheating ?

I sent that guy a message with a little task to prove himself, lets see if he can do it, then I will know for sure if it is possible or a scam, from him anyway. Bet he cannot break my password, oooops
