Hi

I normally bring my small portable battery powered DVD player with me to Thailand to watch DVDs in my hotel room,

But I think they are probably cheap enough to just buy a home player and hook it up to the hotel TV.

Normally I just hooked the portable one up using the round RCA plugs,

So where is a good place to by a good, not a knock-off DVD home player and what will it cost ?

Is Tesco as good as anywhere ?

Anything else I need to look at ?

I will just leave it with my friend when I leave and pick it up the next time

Tesco is fine. You can sometimes find a decent Philips discounted to around 1,000 baht.

Full price would be in the 2,000 range.
