I know its not a post about Thailand but thought one of you might know...
I want to burn some CDs for my next visit to LOS (so I guess it IS about Thailand!?)
Anyway, I darg and drop some of the MP3s, but on some of them it only says for the track length 0.34 or 2.09. I know there longer than this cos i`ve played em in WinAmp. But it only wants to copy 2.09 of the song... It only does it on some of em.
Any suggestions?

Yes, get Alchohol 120%. It is perhaps one of the most comprehensive burning programs out there. I used to be a big Adaptec fan until Nero, now I'm moved from Nero to Alchohol 120%. It really seems to encompass almost all of the features that I require. Well worth checking out.

Which version of Nero do you run?
Versions after 5.5.10.40 tend to be buggy in many ways.
Agreed, Alcohol 120% also is a great program...

As to why those files are being truncated...
There's probably a damaged frame (at 0.34 or 2.09...) and the software interprets that as being the end of the file when trying to do the transfer.
An MP3 file can be damaged without any perceptible loss of quality in a frame such as a popping sound.
Re-encode those files if you have the original or try to fix them with something like MP3Doctor.

Thanks... I dont have the origionals, there ones i`ve downloaded.
The version is - 5.5.1.8
I`ll see if I can get Alcohol or get the MP3 doctor

Read this thread a few days back then couldn'y find it because I thought it was in the tech section? Can you buy Alchohol 120% in Bangkok at Pantip or is it freeware? Thanks.
