For the first 2 or 3 days that I was back in BKK I noticed that my GF and her friends at work (TTM) kept talking about a "talking dick" after a few days I started wondering if this was the same as a walking ATM and if they were talking about me. I finally asked and found out they were talking about an electronic dictionary, they were actually saying "talking dict" which is obvioulsy short for dictionary.
I went to Robinson with my GF and bought myself a "talking dick" (cyber dict is the real name) it is full of features and a ton of slang.
The original price was B5000 but it was marked down to B2750, a hell of a bargain for such a good unit. I highly recommend this unit.

The ones I saw girls buying -about 3 years ago- were decent in Thai to English. But terrible the other way around. Are you happy with this one you got on the English to Thai side?

They's are getting better... they now come with a little slot where you can stick your card to use different programs... not sure if they are SD cards or what, but these dicks now talk more than one language

the one I bought talks english very good, thai is not too bad, and the chinese only has a few phrases, enough to get by at a hotel or airport but that is it.
