Saw this ad for an oil massage place on Ratchada in the Bangkok Post today:
'Angle Love' - maybe they meant to say 'Angel Love'?
After a small list of services and prices, and a declaration that 'All services are hygienic and safe' (whew, that's nice to know), it went on to say 'indoor-outdoor available'.
Wonder what that 'outdoor' massage is like.

What does the Latin mean that you start out with and what does a given Pope have to do with it?
I have never studied Latin and I am about as far from Catholic as one can get but your reply intrigues me!
That having been said, I am also intrigued by the mention of "Indoor/outdoor" service as well! I could think of nothing better than a soothing and relaxing massage in the middle of a forrest or quiet garden but if it is in the middle of a construction zone or out in the middle of a street, forgive me if I would decide to pass on it. ;)

Said by one of the Popes after asking where some notably pretty children who had been brought to Rome as slaves had come from. He'd been told they were Angles from Britannia. Some time in the mid 6th-century AD, I think.
Not the most vital piece of information, but I'm glad to have found a use for it at last on a forum about P4P in Thailand.

That was a nice bit of information... Always wondered about your name. I was wondering if it wasn't the zodiac sign Aquarius amended to suit a personal reference. Then, it also sounded like a Roman historical character. I am still not too clear and certainly less clearer than I would have been if I was more wise on Roman history.

I had always imagined outdoor massage to mean massage outside the MP but inside another room of your choice, like your hotel room, or your home, or your office.... or (why not!) your boss's cabin when he was away at another massage parlour.

Agreed - the quiet garden and the cabin (though technically 'indoors') would certainly be preferable locations to the center of the rubble at Soi 10.

But, I am disappointed because I have heard that anyone interested in Thailand must have to be a totally ignorant sloth with no social skills or redeeming characteristics at all and only interested in cheap sex with young girls.
I hate to have to readjust my perceptions. ;)
That having been said, I think the "outdoors/indoors", as K-man and Tudobem suggest, is probably more related to on sitge as opposed to taking her to your hotel or apartment than anything else. But, if any one finds that "inside/outside" does not apply to "take away", that would be interesting.

I can certainly own to being "a sloth with no social skills or redeeming characteristics at all and only interested in cheap sex with young girls". Admittedly, things get spoilt on the total ignorance front by my being a bit of a gun on Late Antiquity, but then no-one's perfect. Please be assured that I know nothing whatever about anything else.
Luckily, Late Antiquity is a topic of never-ending fascination to BGs, who are more than happy to discuss the Visigothic migrations before, during and after sex. In fact, few things are as likely to guarantee a freebie.
Not very many people know this. Please don't spread it around.
