I am looking at getting a legit massage for my aching body since I'll be playing a few rounds of golf in LOS.
Anyone try the Ananda Spa? They have 2 locations in BKK. They have a price list on their website and was wondering if those are considered expensive by Thai standards.

I can't say for sure how their prices compare to other top quality spas, but I believe that if you are a guest at one of the many properties managed by CB Richard Ellis Asset Management (see http://www.cbream.com/prop_list.html ), then you get a substantial discount. That tells me that it may be somewhat overpriced.

and If you were thinking about the one on Soi 26, I would recommend going Asian Herb Association (just after Ariston Hotel). Fully a legit massage in a very nice place.

So after the Mermaid ball massage its a quick dash to Soi 7 beer bar, grab a girl and check into the nearest ST hotel, but how quick do you have to be before that earth shattering ejaculation sensation wears off??

I am presently staying at President Solitaire hotel, which by the way is a nice place - and decided to try out Ananda Spa.
First of all - forget any "special services". This is a spa for just the "normal" action - but as such it is just great! I came in after the long flight very early in the morning and was just feeling like a wreck. I just wanted a super massage and decided to try the place out since it is located in the hotel. Must say it is one of the best I have experienced. Rooms are nice, the setup is very serious and the service is superb. The young girl I had worked my broken tired body all over and I fell asleep like a baby. Only occasionally woke up when she quietly asked me to "tuln ovel plese sil".
Not cheap but a very nice experience- possibly one of the best "non-naughty" ones I´ve had! They are even so serious that you are asked to put on their own "underwear" - which are a one-time-use knickers you surely dont want anyone to see you in public with!
Anyway - if you are looking for a real serious massage and spa experience - I can just recommend Ananda Spa!

I concur on the professionalism of Ananda at President Solitaire. I was recently there for a month and tried the spa. Very relaxing environment with the candles and scents, and a very good massage. Don't plan on any extras.
