I'll be the first to admit I may have been seeing things. But maybe not. Request assistance.
OK... There have been it seems quite a few new thai/oil massage places opening up lately. That's good. For example, I work on Silom and down near the Narai Hotel there was Lisa's, and then next door to it another opened, and then half a block down another (diamond massage), others, and then even Ogata from Babaganoosh's recent discoveries, etc..... But this has gone too far!
I was walking west from Narathiwat Rd. You'll realize that a huge swathe of land there beside the Tower Inn fairly recently used to be a huge old cemetary. From the last century etc. In an operation lasting months, it was all plowed up last year, the coffins tore up, scattered around, and the bones were put in metal shoeboxes--quite a freaky scene for anyone who walked in and took a look. The place is surrounded with a white wall with regular alcoves or sort of vestubules in it. I believe a new massage parlor has opened in one now that the cemetary is no longer functioning...? Amidst my shock I saw oil for 300 (one of the cheapest prices on Silom). It was quite small. My mind was colliding with the bizarreness of actually trying to get a massage in there. I was too bewildered to inspect further. May pass again in a week for a closer look.
Anyone see the place please post here.

walked onto the lot a year ago when it was all torn up, Really creepy, as it had head stones, crosses, crypts, etc. all in dissarray in a muddy mess. Not a place to stop for a soapie or an oily, lol, too much "pee." Took some photos to log it, noticed I wasn't smiling in any of them. Also noticed lots of piles of undelivered mail, looked like bills, checks, etc. For the deceased?
Still gives me the heebie- geebies thinkin' about it!

Slightly off the subject, Dew and I stayed on Koh Phi Phi about 7 days before the tsunami. The bungalow complex where we stayed was totally destroyed (probably including its inhabitants). Anyway, Dew surprised me last week with:

Dew: Many people die on Koh Phi Phi, but I think they not die in the same spot we go daam naam. They die on land, so daam naam near Koh Phi Phi is OK. We can take boat, only daam naam, not walk on Koh Phi Phi.
Me thinks the Thai logic in dealing with ghosts might be affected by many different things, and is not absolute.

Well, you may have your chance, SB1234. I passed by today. Place is actually called Pornthip Massage. Prices are low for Silom: 150 tm, 300 oil, 150 foot.
I passed and the women inside saw me peering. I was trying to get a view. They came out to the door and tried to convince me inside, they wanted to show me around. They didn't look like much as far as I could tell. But I should've gone in for the tour; will next time. But there was even a dude masseur in there with the foot massage chairs. That's usually a sign of no specials, I guess, since I don't go into places with dudes in there; but maybe not. Who knows what kind of shit goes on in there? The women had that greedy look in their eyes that tells you they know the game, strongly.
Pretty small place. Just one chapel or whatever it is. It's in the first graveyard from Narathiwat Rd near the soi w/ Niagara Hotel sign above it. The set up is curtained off cubicles, so probably no more than discreet hj is possible.
Anyway the prices are cheapest on Silom besides Friendly massage on Surawong (in another thread) which has a fair selection and private rooms. However there may be a supernatural thrill...

Update is Professor Helsing or somebody closed down this place, as it is now closed with a sign on the door.

Cemetary Massage... or Pornthip Massage, if that really is it's name, has been relocated to Silom Plaza, the two-tiered mall down the road with the Japanese Restaurants in there.
I went and looked. Prices are the same, cheap. Were girls in there, maybe one was cute. But a lot of young dudes working in there as well, so I have no plan to attend a massage of myself in this place.
