This is exactly what I mean by "tip inflation" = "attitude deflation". For 1900 you can have the pick of the litter at Caesars for 2 hours or for the new price 2000 baht at Poseidon (I was told that it went up a 100 baht on Valentines Day) you can have a very very pretty girl, not the likes of Barons girls, especially after servicing some smelly and rude customers for the last 2 hours......
But I do have to admit, Barons is a good place to get a hair cut!

also the manicure and pedicure is fine. i used them several times when the girls on display weren't to my liking just to wait for something better to show up. it is quiet easy to watch the girls as the manicure chair is just opposite of the girls waiting!

I just went to Barons today and ordered a 1.5hr oil session. Paid Bt600 and didn't tip the MP girl at all. Reason is that she was more interested in giving the extra service for extra bahts then giving me a proper oil massage.
To be honest, the technique performed by her on the oil massage was nothing to shout about if I were to compare with the likes of the services from SPA-24.
Therefore, no special and no extra tipping.
