probably because i've never been to dai-ichi and had a massage where the issue of extras has not come up. the massage i've had here has been ordinary to say the least anyway.
the best places to go for quality legit massage are upscale hotels with spas, there you know that there is no possibility of extras while the massage is generally of a higher standard.

The problem is that even in many of those hotels some extras are offered. One member of this board has experienced it actually in almost all of the 5* hotel spas.
There are many other spas, outside hotels, were a good massage can be had without pressure for extras.

Dai Ichi has declined, and is in a bit of a slump... there are fewer girls (you may have to wait on Sat/Sun), especially for OM. Good infrastructure at a fair price, but the service is pretty average... although you can get laid there if you want to pay the price. The massage is better (more professional, with more effort expended) at Sazanka... but too vigorous for my taste.
Dai Ichi is definitely worth a visit... you need to give it a shot so you can draw your own conclusions... because it is apples and oranges.
