For ambiance, I would agree that the "real" spas have lots going for them. But I have also gotten lots of great TTM from the little 300 Baht-for-2 hours shops in BKK. Right downstairs from my apartment is a little place that does oily and TTM, nice ambiance, and I 've had both. Very relaxing before hitting that sack for a good night's sleep. This place is frequented mostly by Thai's, who get lots of TTM there.
