As always, Mr. Pinga, thanks for your input. I may be much older than you (since I have a hard time getting it up at MPs if I go too often; yes, I know Viagra), but you seem to have the best sage advice.

With risk of bring back a hard issue. I had an uncle die of AIDS 10 years ago. First time in thailand, i was drinking before worktime many nights with a bunch of barladies in Phuket. Second day, they all sudden went silent. Slowly started to occupy themself with something, and slowly started to work each other up again to joy. Old lady told me that they just got informed a frind of them in same apartmentcomplex died in AIDS. Later on they also told me there was several ladies there who had HIV. What i noticed with these ladies and also several others was that they didnt really care if they got HIV or not. They was already disillusioned, and as they drive they also deal with HIV. If it happens, it happens. They work in sexindustry most often to provide for family. When they start to get ok money, they often tend to gamble too much, and/or start use drugs. Reason is of course to tone down the self-contempt most of them afterall have. Since the belief is that if they do good in this life, they will have a better next life. So i have heard many say that they actually dont care if they live or die, some even imply that they long for next life after do good this one. So for them who think the ladies take very much precautions, think again. To educate the ladies about HIV isnt that easy due to this beliefs. However i noticed that it worked better to inform them about other STD's. Especially to mention that several STD make a lady unable to bear child. THAT scared them, and might be a much better approach than talk about HIV, which so many even here take distance from and dont really want to consider. I hear nums of 10-15-20% in thailand are HIV+. Its all estiamtes thou. But lets say 5% are. 5% is an anonymous number, and if convert that to 3.3 million people in thailand it sudden become closer. Its an easy conclution to make that most of these are people in the sexindustry, and them who indulge in it. Thai ppl themself, are reluctant to use condom, so its very common in brothels. HIV-tests. It takes 3+ month before HIV test can show positive. Ladies have 5-6 customers a day- 5 days a week. Equal 100 a month. 300 in 3 month before a test can show positive. 20-30% men which probably is an underestimate refuse to wear condom. That equals approx 75 men. The numbers i was informed of was that 1 time of 10 a lady gets infected by HIV by intercourse with an infected man without use of condom. But nums like this can be debated into oblivion, and i dont intend to participate in any such discussion. Im still a newbee in thailand, but i am aware of 2 clinics in BKK that issue HIV- cards without do the actual test. That so many lean on these cards truly surprise me. I mean, who are the ladies who would be inclined to go to the clinics that issue negative cards without a test? Do anyone think that a lady with HIV are to stop work? For me its obvious that if she is HIV+, then there is no reason to stop at all. And no reason to care about condoms either. Its already too late. And most gets bitter, and hate the customers which in terms makes that they dont care or even want to give customers a present. Some here took a strong point against the man say he was HIV+, telling him he should not have sex anymore. Paradox thou, is that most often just persons who have that strong opinions are them who in case of get HIV+ will be them who gets so bitter that they try spread it as much as they can. Ignorance is bliss, and life in denial takes many expressions when reality catches up. Bitterness and revenge is usually very strong. For men as well as ladies. Before my last trip, i saw several reports from expats, who know many ladies HIV+ in GG and MP as well as BB. Heck, i bumped into some of them as well in my last trip. But to admit they are HIV+ isnt hardly anything they do until after a long while. As so many say, the ladies tell men what the men want to hear. The illusion here with GF experience and what thai ladies is so good at, is to caress the male ego. Which of course even i fall for and like. But so far i keep it as what it is. Im glad to see that so many here are aware of all this already And im sorry i stray away from the topic of this thread.

it's about 2 weeks before hiv can show up on a test. I think 3 months is the maximum,

HERMES, "....Do anyone think that a lady with HIV are to stop work? For me its obvious that if she is HIV+, then there is no reason to stop at all. And no reason to care about condoms either. Its already too late. And most gets bitter, and hate the customers which in terms makes that they dont care or even want to give customers a present...." This is an interesting thought. I got several experiences dealing with girls that lost a friend/relative cos of AIDS. Their reaction was almost the same, "....we have to work. Family need money na kha...." "....If I no work, no money for mama and papa and baby...." "....if I cannot work MP I go Soi 7 and Nana Disco...." "....if Boss no like me I go Isaarn and stay with family...." Seems to be that the TGs don't consider to stop working at all. I understand their concern. However, I realised that there is a huge concern in most of these cuties dealing with HIV stuff.... "....no condom, no sex. Sorry na kha...." The brothers have the last word on this issue. In my case, I go for the raincoat....

Hermes, I agree. A negative HIV-card is no guarantee that the person is HIV-free. And as you rightly said an HIV positive girl is very likely not to care if she passes it on to customers. Afterall she has only so long to go and has to provide as much as she can for family/child while she is active. Kris

I was also informed that on the opposite when lady was positive, its one in 150-200 time when man gets it. Usually in combo before-after ladies period and man have a wound on genitals. A man usually needs to pee after sex, and the reason is to flush urethra. Mainly for yeast infections and such, but it also works for HIV. That it is easier for ladies to get it, is of course since the virus is in semen. And semen lives several days. Good condoms and the risk is more or less if it breaks. Less than 1%. So we look at 200 times 200=40 000 ladies HIV+ to be with using a condom before statistic tell we get it. Heard MANY ladies say 40% HIV+ in pattaya. A lady from my first trip who been in business 3 years. Done lesbian shows as well as train with pingpong balls, was more scared for the risk of not be able bear child. She called me every day when i got home, and a couple month later she contacted a M.D. She and the M.D went out to some shools in her hometown, and her part was not to inform about STD, rather about life in the trade. My point in that is that also the M.D claimed that 40% of the pattaya ladies are HIV+. Sounds a little high to me, but the point is that so many ladies belive this figure. Still they dont take more precaustions. I havent had so many ladies yet, but talks with many of them tell me that only 1 in 10 demand condom. I think for some falang it will actually caress their ego when a lady dont demand condom. Cause the lady say "Only with U" (LOL). FAlang take for granted that the ladies treat condoms as we do in Farangland. But they dont. Many reasons for that, and one is probably that in rural areas with a salary of 100-150 BATH a day, they dont want to spend 50 Bath on condoms a day. So that whole issue with condoms will most likely be negligated and denied. As well as low education have a big part as well, and a number of more reasons as well. Last year there was 240 000 tourist from sweden go to thailand. 60 000 was young backpackers, 100 000 couples and families. Thailand is marketed hard for families last couple years. So we look at around 80 000 single men. 24 confirmed HIV+ caught in thailand last year. Add to that a large number of not know due to not test. And most dont take tests sadly to say. Nums might be off in catch HIV, but if take these nums we look at 200 HIV+ ladies without condom and i get HIV. With condom i can be with 40 000 HIV+ ladies before i catch it. With 40% ladies HIV+, we look at 500 ladies or 100 000 HIV+ with a condom before i catch it. Relation to catch it is an estimate, and i got that from M.D's working with it. Dont mean its correct figures, but atleast a hint in the direction. Num of 40% in pattaya sounds high to me, but i can be in denial thou. I tend to want to think 20%. However disregarding nums which can be off, my points are 3. 1 Can NOT take for granted that the ladies take extensive precautions, rather the opposite actually. 2 Ladies who are HIV+ can and WILL continue to work with a card show HIV-. And they will NOT care for condoms if customer want without. 3 Some mention to inform ladies about STD, which i think is good. And i have done so a lot. Works better to inform them about other STD than HIV which can make them unable to bear child. With their upbringing that childs will support them as old, that scares them a lot. Conclution. For me, well never ever without condom. With condom, well i take my chanses with these nums. Even if they are not totally accurate, i dont think they are too much off. And now i better stop preach in this subject

After BARONS you may wish to try up-scale MPs along Ratchdapisek. Rooms are excellent and the sideliners are real cuties. Quality of TGs is very high and so does the price. Give those MPs a try....!!!!

Pinga, This may not be a very intelligent question, but I wonder why there are almost no young girls in the Oil MPs, while the Soapy ones have a very large number of very young and cute girls. Any idea?
