I kind of understand them.
She asked me to understand their work is hard and their management etc...
every cost has raised up over 10 years, maybe it is time to raise oily price now.

I don't see the issue with a price increase at oilies.
Making it an additional A+ charge also makes sense, why should I pay the same for my non A+ fun as DG pays for his length A+ pounding sessions ?
To compare prices in general...ST only...
BKK Go-go (non-coyote) - BF 600-700 + 2,000 for the girl, so say B2,600 will get you a 1-2hr jist, no room included and in all honesty, probably a 1 shot deal and out the door quicker than her knickers came off.
Oilies, 1.5hr 600, girl 1,500, A+ 500. So B2,600 including room. With generally 1.5hrs of PSE or GFE whichever you prefer, and multiple shots and services.
It is time for the oilies to increase prices in my opinion, the massage part should go up 100B across the board, (so 500/700/900) the girls price should stay the same but A+ charged as 500 extra.
Incentivises more girls to offer a wider range of services, which earns them more, and helps the operator with increased overheads.

Personally I think GoGo prices are way out of line. Hell, for the amount of time that they actually spend with you it is very expensive. Over 100 bucks for what amounts to probably less than 15 min of sex? Compared to the 35 bucks it was a mere 10 years ago that is a huge increase. Can't think of many things that have inflated that much.
I think the oily prices are right about where they should be and it is the GoGo prices that are nuts. Let's say a good oily gal has averages 2 sessions a day. That's 12 a week. 72k a month FFS! For someone without much education its a huge salary. That is more than most MBAs I know here in BKK. Its a lot of money. And that is without the tips they might be receiving.
I can understand an increase in the oily fee as rents are nuts in Central BKK, that is why I did not blink when Bamboo was an extra 100 on the oily fee, but was surprised by the extra 500 tacked onto my bill for A+ service, bringing what was a 2100 baht fee for 90 min at the other shops to 2700 at Bamboo. 20 extra bucks. That's close to 30% more. Honestly if any other service you purchased went up 30% at one whack, you would be quite miffed.
What made Barons and Tulip so amazing when they first opened was summed up best by Saeng, "all girls do everything." And she meant it. Each and every girl had a very polished skill set. You knew pretty much exactly what you were getting when you took any of the gals there. Sadly over the last three or so years one cannot count on stellar service from each and every girl. There are very few of those performers left.
If you are charging more money what "value" are you adding? Frankly the performance has dropped off all the PSE shops. It is one of the few industries where more competition has led us to worse service as the better looking gals can go to other oilies where they can get away with CBJs and the like. I guess that the PSE shops have had to lower their performance standards to keep even reasonably attractive girls. Of course this is still demand driven as there must be plenty of dudes who are willing to accept that type of service at other parlors. A couple of months ago I was in Tulip and looking at one of the new gals and the mamansan said she had no idea about her level of service. Huh? I was a bit taken aback. Honestly I have no issue with paying a bit more money as long as the service is consistent and excellent. Want to charge more? Fine, make sure that all new gals spend their first few sessions with one of the more experienced gals so that she knows what is expected of her, knows how to give a great hummer, a decent massage, and is well on the way to being a star performer. I have had several sessions over the past couple of years with new gals at most of the PSE shops that were just disappointing to say the least. Nothing at all to set them apart from any other FL you might find.
Sad to see Mango following Bamboo and instituting the "butt penalty." With that we are getting might close to 100 USD per session and sorry, but personally I think that is expensive, that is unless there is some added value for the customer like making sure all the gals know what they are doing before they go with customers alone. Charge me more, fine, but offer me better looking gals who live up to the PSE standards set by Baron's and Tulip 10 years ago.

Goatscrot, I think its only fair you factor in the fact that your $ is buying you less Baht compared to 10 years ago and thats where a huge % of the perceived price increase stems from.
10yrs ago a BK gogo ST was BF 500, + 1,000 to the gal = 1,500
Today the same thing is 2,600, 73% increase baht to baht.
Typical medium risk investment doubles every 10yrs (on avg)
Inflation in Bangkok over the last 10yrs has been huge, we can all see that in rentals, hotels, utilites and consumables...the girls individual costs have also increased.
Hypothetical...
You're an average looking gal, you get 1500 fixed no matter what you do in the room with the guy, you get picked on average twice a day/ 6 days a week, always new faces.
Do you go all out in performance, effort, services etc, or get away with what you can with each guy ?
Sellers market, and the girls know this, sad but true.
As long as the new faces keep coming nothing will get better, how many escort ads do you see on CL that state 'no expats' !
72K a month isn't that great, compare to an avg position for a Thai in an international firm and they're on 50K up...whose job takes more toll, risks their life and gives them a shorter shelf life ?
The only poorly paid people I know are government workers, shop/restaurant workers, or worst farmers. Private companies are paying good packages these days.
A Thai graduate can walk in to an office position in the 30K region easily in Bangkok.
The problem with go-go's IMHO isn't the prices, its simply too many punters, giving the girls the ability to run 2 or 3 BF's a night and charge what they want.

While I do agree with you on many points, I still say that a 73% increase in a service over a 10 year period is quite a bit.
And yes, the currency change has effected us and that has nothing to do with the locals, but an effect to the pocketbook none the less.
Inflation is huge, but the majority of increases that I see are in commercial space, especially in certain more popular areas, Suk, Thong/Ek, Ari, etc. Rents on Suan Plu are even going up. It is bordering on the ridiculous in many ways. The recently converted building bok soi 20 and Suk is asking 400k per month for a single wide shop house. That's a lot of covers for a restaurant or bar. Prices rise, but all of that is going into the pockets of landowners for the most part.
Yes, it is becoming more and more of a sellers market. With more opportunity outside of P4P the "part timers" that used to be my favorite FLs have all but disappeared. Private companies are paying more, but I still don't know that many folks who have cracked the 100k per month barrier, although I know a few. There still seems to be a bit of a ceiling around 60 - 70 or so. I do know quite a few at the 50k level though.
Interesting that you mention performance. Whenever I am with one of the old guard gals, they always give it 100% or close. The new ones are a bit "meh." Sadly more and more are just gone with replacements harder to find. Min from SW (former Tom at Tulip) just bugged out. That's another of my all time favorites that I would see once a month down the tubes. Another fav at Tulip will be leaving towards the end of the year. Had talks with her on several occasions about the newer gals not performing. She agrees and says they get no training. She often jokes and says she will train a couple of replacements for me.
Cash/April who is kind of running Bongkot for Saeng tells me that they have lots of gals who have come for one or two days and then just not returned. Seems the PSE provider is just hard to come by these days.
Now A+ is not a big deal to me, but what's next? A rimming surcharge? BBBJ surcharge? It is a slippery slope. Would rather see them put the fee up a few hundred baht and keep it all inclusive.
The scene so to speak is quickly turning into what you see in many more developed countries with a low end and a high end. I think this trend will continue and worsen especially with the influx of Chinese dudes that will come. I agree with you; its not going to get better.
For many of us the attraction of BKK and the reason we moved here was a 5 star lifestyle on a 3 star budget; that my friends is over.
If not for my longterm GF I would probably be on the lookout for other haunts. Of course the trend is spanning the globe. One of the few places that is still pretty good for mongering in my opinion would be Jakarta. Namely because it is not really a tourist destination.
Well, I for one am just damn glad I caught the late 90s and early 00s here and in Cambo. It was just a hell of a lot of fun.
Again, pay more? Yea no problem, just would like to see the standards kept up.
A quick aside. It is actually far more pleasant discussing this in BTF as opposed to some of the others as we tend to respect each other's opinions here and not flame.
I really enjoy this forum and can actually put stock in some of the recommendations I read here as well. As providers dwindle and prices increase this becomes all the more valuable.
