expatchuck is well known to me from the Z forum, and I can verify that not only is he fat and over forty, but:
1. His shadow weighs 42 lbs.
2. He's got more chins than Chinatown
rtb: I see that you are 39 and slim. Remember, that can all change in a year.  However, I do have a question for you about massage. What do you normally pay for extra's? I'd like to compare what we over forty types pay with what you young slim guys pay.
Finally, if I have time in September, I will definitely try Sanzanka and let you know what I think.

I was there a few nights ago, being a 1st timer there, the reception staff took time to explain the various options in the "menu" to me and to cut the long story short and to experience the entire ritual, I opted for the full course which was priced at 1380B.
Quite a good enriching experience for a change and the scrubs were good. Never felt cleaner! By the way, the joint is known as Sazanka and opened from 12pm-12am

The first place I tried when I got to Bangkok. Very newbie friendly. The people at reception were nice and explained everything clearly. They showed me the menu and then the photobook of girls. I pick one, not the cutest, but she reminded me of a girl I once liked. She leads me to shower room and she does her stuff. All the scrubbing and salt were great. Like a lot of people have said before, I've never felt cleaner and my skin has never felt healthier. At one point she stopped to show me how much dead skin she had scrubbed off. My elbows which were rough and corse before are now as soft as a baby's bottom.
I'm wondering now if I could ever find a legit place to get exfoliated when I get home. All in all, a great experience.
