I think the trick in general when it comes to adventures in LOS is to keep an open mind and your (repeat) expectations somewhat in check.

This is in no way a dig at you, ok. Yours is a legitamate question. But why not just go in and try it? IMHO there is no massage place in Bangkok where extra activity is not possible.
The only difference is that some places are up front about it, while others pretend otherwise.
Surely half the fun is going into an apparently 'legit' place and finding that all is not what it seems.
