Really? wow your standards certainly suck then.
Customer service isn't about 3 lines on the internet apologizing after facts.... it's about taking care of the said customer right in the shop when he is about to leave.
Asking him why he left early? specifics about the session... adn not wait a few days to discover it on the net.
It looks like Snowwhite has more bad than good reviews

At least Nong takes the time to respond and acknowledge the issues. yes, it takes more than a few lines on a board but this is a positive sign and one that many will appreciate. It also means I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and consider going back again to see if/when there is some improvement.
As for getting the info on the way out.... this is just not going to happen. For starters, face-saving for many will prevent them from being too critical about said provider... esp if the customer is likely to come back again to try another. Imagine the reputation he will have after criticizing one of the staff.
I've had great sessions at Tulips and some mediocre. I won't throw the baby out with the bath water just because I got someone on a bad day.
Alternatively, you may choose to end the session early for many reasons. On a few occasions, I've been called my office to deal with things that forced the shortened session. Other times I've shortened it because the first 60-90 minutes were great, I was drained and ready to hit the road...
Starting a new business is never easy and it takes time to build up the staff and earn a positive reputation. Acknowledging in this forum is a good sign. You may think my standards suck but at least I am willing to cut her some slack and hope that she can sort it out and be very successful.

Ok, I admit I was kidding with that line (obviously, I failed) LOL
I have tried Snow white and found it to be below par (even below Angels so that says a lot). Could it have been with a provider on a bad day? maybe but this is not enough of an excuse.
Bad day or not, a certain service is advertised and if the parlor (or the girl) do not provide that said service, then why take the customers money?
Would you go to a restaurant, order something adn then not say anything when served something else? or do you just say "the waitress or the cook must have a bad day".
And, there is nothing wrong in saying that you did not enjoy your time... saying it was ok and then coming to a forum adn badmouthing the place is even worse.
I have left sessions earlier than expected in several occasions, and many times the cashiers did ask me if there was anything wrong or why was I leaving so early.
I agree with you and also find it nice that Snow white replies adn reads the comments in the forum, but writing is one thing, making it happen in the shop is another.

I could not agree more with Nic; when running a business aimed at 'Aliens' their ‘culture(sic) ’ should not be about losing face; their culture should be about something completely foreign to Thailand; in the West it is called ‘Customer Service’; we 'Aliens' do appreciate good 'Customer Service'. Unfortunately it is very rare here in Thailand and while the Thai’s have found every reason to blame the lack of tourism on everything not connected to them; they always fail to mention this, albeit low on the ‘totem pole’ as just one reason.
When I find a restaurant or bar that does offer this rare commodity they have won me over and I not only become a regular; I recommend them to others.
Not every customer who complains has a valid reason; that is for sure but when you start reading it from those who normally do not complain then there must be something to it.

1. Explaining things to a receptionist that doesn't speak fluent english can be difficult. "girl no good" isn't exactly correct. "girl wasn't trained properly, and although she tried hard, she just wasn't prepared for the task she'd been assigned" is more correct. I'll repeat what I said - if I'd pulled this girl from a gogo/beerbar, I would have been fine with her. She's simply not a Tulip girl.
1.5 Would I just say "not satisfied" or "mai dee" and immediately get a refund of 800 for the room, and then have the house go get whatever money I paid to the girl? The guarantee at Eden allows them to give a full refund, sure - but at the massage parlours, the money is split between a payment to the house and a payment directly to the staff. How exactly might that work? Perhaps I would simply refuse to pay the girl in the room, despite having received some form of sexual services, and come down in a huff?
2. Does this mean that you have a satisfaction guarantee, ala Eden?
3. Let's assume that you don't have that guarantee. Let's further assume that I communicated "not satisfied" to the front staff. What benefit would I gain by telling you about the issue? Since there's no guarantee, there's no refund. I'll grant you that this would allow you to investigate the issue and perform corrective action - IF I believed that it would be done. I've lived here too long, and developed an expectation that a thai front desk operator is going to listen, smile, and say "ka" just long enough to get me out the door, and then return to her kanom and comic book. No matter where I am, nearly without exception, the frontline staff doesn't care.
Do the business owners care? Absolutely. If one of the people with direct financial interest in the place had been there, I might be a bit more upbeat on the chances of my words having any impact.
4. And what about impact?
Option a) Telling a disinterested thai receptionist.
Option b) Telling the local mongering community website - which I'd been previously informed that the Tulip staff monitors, if not the new Snow White.
With option (a), as already stated, I don't think I'll get any response. With option (b), however, I'm able to:
i. Contribute valuable knowledge to the board that informed me of Snow White in the first place.
ii. Warn off my fellow customers from a shop that's perhaps not living up to the reputation they think it should have.
iii. Inform Snow White management in a public place, such that my chances of them acting on the information are substantially increased.
Note:
As many are aware, option (b) presents a significant customer service/advertising opportunity to Snow White. That wasn't my primary objective in my FR, but it remains a fact.
