Hi all,
thanks for sharing all these details guys..pretty good job. I am planning my trip to bkk and wanted your opinion here. I will be flying from singapore after 3 nights there to bkk and plan to go to pattaya and then maybe patong. since bkk is my connecting point I think I should give some time to it. last year I didn't even check out of bkk airport..anyway, since I am arriving on the 12/4 maybe it will be nice to stay for a night at bkk visit barron's and other spots and then head to pattaya..where it will be a decent inexpensive girl friendly hotel to stay near the action? how do u compare the similar pattaya places to barron's and eden? I haven't hear of barron's in contrast to eden's since I found out about this forum. if I want to try a popular one like Nin, Nui, Saengh would it be possible on the 12th or 13th? I was thinking that as a first timer there I don't get the best treatment..??again maybe it's a good tactique to check in one day before songkran as probable next day they have the day off (??) ok..hope I can get some help here. thanx all.

It's bad timing, Baron is, I believe, closed for the Thai New Year.... Pattaya is really good fun in that period, prepare yourself to get VERY wet..... Best strategy is probably to find a "girl friend" for this period.
