As far as I can remember it was against 5pm.

I went to Barons for the first time a couple weeks ago and can echo what a couple people said on selecting girls. I came in through the front door and immediately saw a number of women on the couches on the left. A little bored maybe, but some nice lookers there! Now I wanted to say, "Hey, don't I get to choose?" but, I don't know, I guess I am too polite and didn't want to hurt the short girl's feelings. I mean, she was about a 6, cute and a decent body, but nothing to write home about. And some of the girls on the couch were definitely 8 quality.
Anyway, she gave me a nice massage and fairly enthusiastic sex, but I kept thinking to myself, "Couldn't I be bonking that 8 downstairs?" I believe this was probably because you asked for the special massage then paid for it before selecting a girl. Mamasan might have intepreted that as you wanted to be assigned a girl, so maybe she said something in Thai to the girls and you short girl came up.
Next time, just sit down opposite the girls and make your selection. THEN, go pay for the massage. After the massage (maybe you'll get one) and you get screwed seven-ways-to-Sunday, you give the girl the standard price - 1500 for her.

you can choose, but otherwise they rotate and you get
the next in line. Just go back and sit opposite them and choose one talk to the papa san which one you want.
It can be a bit daunting the first time, I went on a sunday this is the worse day busy as sh_t, so I waited to the left side as you walk in afterwards the papa san brought a girl over after I said I wanted the massage then off to pay bla bla sweet wave bye bye.
