dear all,
In a couple of weeks I am heading for Thailand and I am looking for some advice. After having read all great experiences I am dying to get a so-called extra massage.
Can anybody recommend places in Koh Samui (Chaweng) and in Bankgkok where I could go together with my wife. I am looking for a decent place where we will get massage in separate rooms so that I can get the extra massage.....

This could be dificult. I have just returned from exactly the same situation (holiday, with wife, Chawang area on Koh Samui) Stayed at the Samui Central resort.
I tried several of the main street massage places with mixed results. If this is your first time let me describe them to you. All along the main drag are massage rooms, glass fronted with rows of couches with foot sore peaople having their feet massaged. These places also offer TTM and oil massage. Problem is that when you ask for the oil massage you are shown to a row of beds facing the people having a foot massage. They will pull a practically see through curtain around you and that's it! Not conducive to any interesting manipulative work unles you like an audience.
I did find one place where the 'shop' was empty and I took a chance on no one coming in while I was there. I asked for an oil massage and got the works, i.e. extras but it still was not a great feeling knowing that at any minute some other guy could be literally 18 inches from you behind a curtain having his massage.
I found nowhere where I could take my wife and have separate rooms and enjoy the full teatment. The more upmarket spas will all have great rooms but in my experience they don't offer anything other than massage.
The only one you could try is the new Spa at Poppies hotel (you will find it and if nothing else go there for a great meal right on the beach one evening, we went twice in a week it was so good).
What I am saying is that there seems to be no middle ground between the low rent foot massage joints and the top end Spas. Maybe others have had better experiences but that's what I found.

i will go to samui within a week, for the first time, may can somebody tell me the prices for a good dinner in a beachview restaurant with a TG ?

Can't help you with the cost of the TG but a great dinner for two will set you back no more than 2,000 Baht providing you don't go crazy on ordering European wine. Beer is better with Thai food anyway.

Thank you for the answer...was thinking that I had to pay less than 2K. at the end of all we are thinking about samui...weather seems that doesn't help us...probably we will stay longer in BKK...u know...as a newbie I have a lot of things to try

You can eat for 250 baht if you want but you did specify agood beach side restaurant to impress you new TG. Its up to you I LOS.

The operative words being 'go together with my wife'.....
I know where you mean and thats great if on your own or with like minded guys, but you could not take your wife there and prentend that this was a legit massage place.
