I live not far away and was compelled (in a moment of weakness) to check it out a couple of months ago. Seems like a local Thai spot and has a modest fishbowl with some ok (25-30-ish) ladies. However, its more an Oil/Thai massage though, not sure why it was mentioned in the Soapy section???
Mamasan was very nice, and helpful, with passable English skills. The Thai massage was like 340 baht for 2 hours. Rooms were rather dingy, towels rather thin...
Massage was excellent, girl was a cheeky thing with wandering hands, ended up being coaxed (without much resistance) into a rather pleasant 500 baht HJ 
My thoughts are that there are lots of better places equally close to the BTS... BUT I hated NOT KNOWING.... must be the Marco Polo gene - just got to explore!

I wouldn't call it that.
It's more like an irresistible urge to go where many man might have been before, but if you strike gold, maybe you might be the first, or second or even third.
As for wanting to eat your desert first, I see no reason why you cannot have your desert at the start and as an aftermeal snack, in order to have that delicious taste lingering in your mouth for hours after the event.
An interesting side-note to this is that no amount of alcohol washes the taste away. In fact I find that alcohol just enhances the receptive taste buds to the honey and compels one to dip into the sweetness again at the earliest possible opportunity.

Yes Dickin Situ - I think it was weakness... I suspected that it was not an undiscovered gem because its certainly not "hidden" from view - BUT I was not strong enough to do the homework first... Reckless, unprepared - I caved in to my compulsion to explore the UNKNOWN...
Dessert first... a nice preliminary to the main event... its too sweet to be an entree, not substantial enough to be a main course... and a second helping may often stimulate the appetite!
A fellow-explorer... hey, a few weeks ago I walked from Ratchatewi BTS down Petchaburi Road to Rama IV on my way to S.Botha (in a moment of strength). About 400 metres from Phaya Thai Rd, just past where the first footbridge crosses Petchaburi Rd, I noted with interest a Thai sign on top of the buildings on the right that includes says in English "Darlings" - looks suspiciously like an advertisement for a house of ill-repute? I walked along the street frontage but there was no sign of a premises - there is a small soi that heads in behind the street-front shops but have not yet investigated further.
Does anyone know what is there? Or is it "virgin" territory, populated by gorgeous wenches who have not yet felt the hand of man???

I am trying to visualize your directions into a map, and see if that path leads somehow to Darling Massage off Sukumvit. But it seems like you would be on the opposite side and so I cannot see how it does.
On the other hand I would be delighted were there another, more secret Darlings off the beaten path; that's my meat! 555
Wonder if anyone's got any info...
By the way, as I posted above, is this Thewe not the Thewi that I that linked above? Or is there more? Yes? More and More! I certainly don't feel any need to limit the amount of paradisical establishments in the city...!

Seajohn, The Thewi Thai massage is definitely the same place you posted the link to etc a couple of days ago - but it should not be in the Soapy section - cos it ain't a Soapy...
Re the "other" Darlings - nope - its definitely NOT the Sukhumvit one! From Phay Thai Rd, itrs the oppsite direction from Pantip Plaza - if that helps?
I must take another stroll down that way one evening and see if the neon sign gets turned on - I've tried to spot the sign from the BTS at night but it crosses Petchburi too quickly to get a decent look.
