i find most of us brits use 'dick' as a polite word.
it can be used in front of women with more acceptance than 'cock'.
also in england,the word 'fanny' is a more acceptable term for pussy[i know this means different things in different countries],many women will use this word instead of any other word.
i remember once travelling on a greyhound bus between dallas and houston and sitting with this real redneck marine and remarking to him 'i'm dying for a fag',the look on his face was priceless.
of course 'fag' is a brit term for cigarette,but we know what he thought i was talking about.

Nokna: What is a "spotted dick"? (I probably opened myself up for some wise-a-- remarks) I saw a movie once starring John Goodman where all of the British Royal family were killed and he was discovered to be the only remaining heir to the throne. I think the title of the movie was "Duke of Earl". They referred to some type of food item as "spotted dick".

Dear readers,
Lately I went in soi 11, deep down in the soi on the right side, white building, just forgot the name of the place.
On their menu is really the 'scrotum' massage, which is delicious, although I never had a girl there (went there 3 times in 3 years) that finished the job, not even in the showerroom afterwards.
