Quick question guys, I am planning a trip in Nov-Dec timeframe. How surly do the Thais get if you stay one or two days over the 30days? I know they are tightening up on Visas lately. Is it a simple lil' fine at airport or big PITA best avoided?

I over-stayed 1 day,, AHH got the scare of my life as security YELLED over-stay over-stay,,, AHHH
Taken to a room, fill form pay 200 BAHT,, security / police said Thankyou very much,,LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
But better to be carefull

Overstay by one day is free, what you talking about, first day no charge, but if you saty 2 days or more, you pay from day one. I always overstay 1 day, gotta get my value from Thailand somewhere.

There is a BFS (big fcuking sign) in the little room they took you to, it says what I just said. If they only charged you 200b, you did not stay 2 days, cos they charge you from day one so it would be 400b.
