OK, never left the US and I am leaving in a week. I am worried about if I will find food I like. I really dont like oriental food, actually cant eat any. Is it easy to find western food?
2) Is it is better to pay for an apartment online or in person?
3) Where can you go for a chest wax?
4) How can I travel from sukhimvit to near the grand palace?
Thanks so much, no matter how hard I have been trying I cant seem to get answers to these questions

1. Heaps of places that sell western food, McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, plus most restaurants in the tourists areas sell both Thai and Western food.
2.It doesn't matter when you pay but it is better to at least have made a booking before arrival, most places may require at least a credit card no. to hold a booking for you.
3.Don't know - Not interested
4.Taxi - I'm not sure about the sky train or subway someone else may assist you here.

2). If you can get the same price, it is better to make the reservation directly with the hotel/serviced apartment and/or pay them directly. It is better to pay in cash (Thai Baht), so bring travelers checks if you can (cash them at a bank with your passport for id).
Unless you make arrangements before hand, hotels and serviced apartments will often try to charge you 5% extra for using a credit card, on top of the 3-4% the credit card company will charge extra for the purchase in a foreign currency. Making a reservation with a credit card and then paying in cash is no problem.
4). To get to Grand Palace, take the BTS to the National Stadium stop and get a taxi from there. If you are near Asoke and Sukhumvit, you might be able to get a little bit closer with the new subway, but probably not much closer. Make sure the taxi driver turns on the meter as soon as you get in, or start telling him "meter" until he turns it on.
Check with the your hotel reception to see if they have "taxi cards" in case you have trouble communicating with a taxi driver on your way back. It also helps to have a BTS card to point to if you just want to get back to the nearest BTS station.

I am really glad to hear they have food I like. What is everyones advice on condoms? Do they have them at the hotel and are they decent quality?
Finally, I am serious, I want to get my chest waxed. It would cost me 80 dollars to have it done here. I am sure if I go to bangkok I can have it done for so much less. Where should I go for this, the mall? Which one?

Definitely bring over a bunch, since they don't take up much room in your bags.
I've found convenience stores like 7-11 have a good selection. (in LOS)
Look on the back of the package bottom right corner is the size. Usually the biggest they have are 54mm
Get some flavored ones for the cases where the gal (or you) wants to use a condom during a BJ.
Spermicidal lubricant doesn't taste too well I'm told.

Have a good 1st time - you will be a different man, if you open your mind and use a broadminded approach to the country. It is not europe or USA - it is something completely different and that is why most of us here at the forum just love it.
Please try and see more than just the naughty scene! In my mind thatīs just a small (but fun..) part of the whole thing. Try and "blend in". Take customs to where you come and a good idea is to read some of the tourist books about the country as such and asia in general. Hotel condoms are fine, although when the staff are bored, they often poke holes in them with needles, but they are only small holes.
As for the chest wax, I know a new spa opening in Soi 22 in a few days, the gentleman there would love to wax your chest, you could be his first customer. In fact I saw his menu the other day and they offer a chest and back wax and they throw in a bum wax for free, so there is some real value for you. All for less than US$50.
By the way, I am serious about this, same same you.
