I know that buying a car is expensive in LOS, but does anyone have any experiences of long term hiring or leasing?

Is it expensive? Easy to do? All experiences would be appreciated.

Ta muchly

We've leased a multitude of cars as a company.

If it's easy to do as an individual.... no idea. As a registered company not difficult as all.

Company used: Budget-Rent-A-Car

Cars: Ford Mondeo / Toyota Vios

Count around THB 40,000 per month. Gasoline excluded.

The Ford Mondeo was THB 39,000, the Toyota Altis Vios a little cheaper (around THB 35,000).

Prices around three years ago.

You can pick up much cheaper cars if you want. If you want brand spankers new then the cheapest corporate lease will be around 20K for a Honda City (if you can fit in it) with a sizeable deposit.

Else the other end is a 4 year old Corolla (or similar) with driver for 20K. W/o Driver about 14 K a month.

Its not Budget/Avis quality but they will maintain the car for you. PM me for contact details.

Hello brothers,

Pardon my ignorance. Just curious - how much does a 1.6 lit sedan cost in BKK ? Over here in Sin city, its close to US 50K - surely it can't be that expensive in Thailand.

Apologies for this 'newbie' question.

Cheers,
NewKid

I don't have any experiences with this company, but I think your prices are way off?

No, Caronte is correct and in the ballpark with his numbers.

Expatmotors are known to be a bit expensive due to the service and warm feeling you get from buying from a Farang oriented dealer.

Here is current pricing on a Toyota Corolla...
