My first start-thread !
Is it possible to find work in Thailand ?
I rather liked the look of the place during
my brief visit. My employment skills are
a bit limited? The systems I work on are
not in commercial use. I can deal in cars
(Oldsmobiles, old Ford T-Birds, Jeeps etc)
I am not sure about teaching English (I may
frighten the students, I have a heavy accent
anyway!)
Why?
Well I am kinda in conflict with my superiors,
they disapprove of my views on democracy.
Get this, ”I gotta be Global!” Had enough of
the BS. Trouble is it’s a bit like the ‘Mob’
once you join you never leave unless in a
wooden box.
Anyway Siam has gotta be better than
welfare ?
So what are the odds on a college educated
guy getting a job in Siam?
Holiday rep or somethin’. I dunno I need to
get outa here and Siam sounds like a place
to chill out. The ladies can come later.
Consultant analyst ? Nah, who’s gonna
believe that. Private Dick? Nah, I don’t
know the score. I may get a couple of small
pensions to live off, but I need to do something?
Any thing’s better than the BS I put up with.
The World is changing guys and I don’t like the
direction. Wanna keep my head down for about
ten years !

Mine company takes good experienced folks and turns them inside out on each other into a competitive stress tank. We've lost too many on the last layoff wave and then they want us to multitask for 4. Christ I'm bailing soon; another year of gloom n doom with all the upper management taking all the credit over engineering. R%@#$$%#$% uck it !
