Anyone know when they are planning on opening the subway? Last I heard the tunnels were done and they are supposidly waiting on the trains.

Trials are already ongoing...the first rolling stock was delivered several months ago, and they are arriving bit by bit. Tunnels have been finished for......months....maybe even a year now
The April opening will be for passengers but it will be a free service as essentially the systems will be under 'live' test.
Full service / payment will start in August as stated.

The subway has extensive anti flooding measures in place.
You may notice to start that the entrances are all elevated above the flood level in that area. There is also more sophisticated back ups in place.
