Hey Guys
Maybe I am just more than a little nuts as I need to rent a car and drive from Bkk to Kalasin Provence during my next visit. I could use a lot of information as to travel directions, what agency would be best place to rent a car, and what would driving conditions be like once outside the city. Do you think there is any hope of survival. ThanKs

Driving in BKK is just a little unreal. They seem to follow a rule like " I know where I am going so you avoid me" Seems like a game of "chicken" It seems to work.
I always drive in Thailand and outside of BKK it just gets easier. no problems. Not sure where you are from but Thailand drives on the LEFT.

Your coming to Thailand to drive???
Remember we believe that when we die we will have a better life.

isn't it funny? Some jokes like "only third world countries drive on the right" are gladly accepted - others (English vs. other languages) create bitter comments about making things unenjoyable, etc.
Either members learn (positive explanation) or there are two ways to measure.
