How long are you planning to stay? Very hard to find anything at that price for short term that's furnished.

I can't recall the name right now...but there is a decent place not far from Victory Monument BTS..it was a tad more than 9K (maybe 10 or 11K a month) a buddy of mine lived there a few years back....
It was serviced, clean looking, in your desired area and had a pool....
I think at least one bro here might know about the white apartment building I am talking about near Victory Monument...
I think it's one of those that start with just 2 letters followed by "manor", "mansion", "house" or something like that.....l only visited a friend a couple times there but it was quite adequate for that price range......
I do know a serviced place that is 8 or 9K a month and pretty nice (no pool) but it is near St Louis Hospital and probably wouldnt work to well for you..

i stayed in a place for 6,000 pm, if you are standing outside the century park hotel, turn right and walk 3mins on your right is I think vp mansion.
nice studio clean and cosy, atm outside the front,
that was 12 yearsago, maybe more now, but for themoney it was cool

VP Tower on Soi Rang Nam..... also The Victory there also... you can find them both on the internet.... but the mothly rates have gone way up, but the rooms are thesame.... shitty...... Have stayed at both places, Soi Rang nam is a great soi, lots of things going on there and the Victory BTS at the end of the Soi.....
Even though both palces are 50% full, they keep the thai mentality, the less you sell, the more you charge.....
But, you will find that as you hang out away form the farang ghetto, the more you will enjoy the soi...... I have many trips wher eI never left the area... by the way, there are at least 3 short time hotels on the Soi.....
