Closest to the Chayophra, June/1 MPs would probably to go to Phyathai, exit the front right hand side as you arrive, that puts you outside the Federal hotel, then continue to walk right, [ Siam city hotel will be across the road ] down Sri Ayuthya road almost the whole block, maybe 5-10 minute walk. June 1 comes first, and the Choyprahya 1 - or is it 2, anyway a little further on, on opposite side. Sometimes you will find Taxi / Tuk Tuk guys hanging around outside, that will tell you the place closed and try to take you somewhere else, just ignore them.

Well, I slightly disagree with Packripper. I would rather avoid taking a cab close to Victory Monument....
If you would like to hit Ratchadapisekf I would rather recommend taking the BTS till SAPHAN KWAI Station. Once there get off the Station through the exit that will allow you to take a cab heading TOWARDS Payathai.
Why? The reason is that the cab will go ahead like going back to Payathai BTS Station but a minute after and once at the junction called Saphan Kwai the cab will take LEFT. This will head to INTAMARA and then SUTTISAN. You will hit Ratchadapisek in no more than 20 minutes and close to Poseidon......This is my personal opinion.

I post the following in another thread and I added some more info.....Hope this helps....
"....CP2 is easily reachable if you take the skytrain BTS till Payathai Station (2 stops far from SIAM Square). Once at Payathai BTS Station ask for FLORIDA HOTEL and get off the BTS station through the nearest exit to that hotel. Once down, give your back to the BTS line and walk on Sri Ayuthaya Road and after 1 minute you will see SIAM HOTEL on the opposite side of the road. Keep walking 1 more minute till you hit the pedestrian bridge. By this time you already ARE in front of J1 MP. Still wanna go to CP2?....Just cross the bridge...you will be facing Chavalla just underneath the pedestrian bridge on the same side of SIAM HOTEL. Well, if you still wanna go to CP2 MP just keep walking in the same direction always giving your bloody back to the BTS line and in no time you will be in front of CP2...." Avoid tuk tuks and motorbikes....check your pockets...forgot condoms? No problem, just before the entrance of CP2 there is a "family mart" I think....sort of 7-11......wow!

El frances , depends how much peoples is stepping in and out of train , but I ' d say drivetime is 2-4 min.

I use the sky-train to go to Patpong from Nana. I get off at Siam station and switch to Silom line and get off at Sala Daeng. I walk the same way the train is going for 2 blocks. Patpong is on the right. I don't bother with the sky-train going back as it just as cheap and usally almost as fast to get back to Nana or Soi Cowboy by taxi.

....just consider that the BTS stops its service at midnight....and yeah! time between two BTS stations is usually 3-5 min....Have fun!
