Point taken JJ. Let me say in my defense:
1) I made those points on different threads because I did not assume that all of my posts would be read by the same person. (Maybe that was stupid but this is my first time on any internet forum).
2) I mentioned those facts only to indicate that I had some ability to comment on the particular subject.
3)I don't think being here a long time makes me superior to you or anyone - why are you so sensitive to that? How do I know whether you or anyone else have been here longer than I and why would I care?
3)The only times I mentioned speaking Thai was because I was offering some help or insight. Yeah I speak Thai, so what? It means I have a particular ability that someone else may or may not have, I don't think that makes me superior (I can't shoot pool for shit. Maybe you can, do I assume that would make you a superior person? You get one guess.) Again, why are you so sensitive about that?
4)I am supposed to be working so I truly don't have time, but the real reason I would hesitate to go on and on is for fear of boring, annoying people like you who don't want to hear some boring bastard go on and on about "Well, back in the day...".
5)Anybody who takes ANYTHING said by someone they don't know as gospel is an idiot. Period. My "experances" are just that, mine. They are not "gossble" for anyone.
6) I'm not aware that I'm playing anygame. I was merely interested in a friendly exchange of info and experience.
7) No need to prostrate, just kiss my ***.
If others have been as offended as JJ I apologize and I would appreciate being called on it. You can be sure I will be much more careful with my posts from now on.

If it is the custom of members of this forum to say 'f_ck you' to someone for speaking the truth, for having been around for a long time in Thailand, and for having some insights into the subject matter of this forum by virtue of that long tenure and experience -- I own an entertainment place that is linked to from this website -- then say so, and I will happily take myself out of here, and you can revert, Jumping Joke, to being the blind leading the unsighted.
Moderator, he's the one throwing four letter words around. Have a read of my response, again, and see if there's any profanity in there.
Knowledge and experience ought not to disquality anyone, just become some wet behind the ears, fresh off the Boeing character is obviously envious.
There are plenty of guys with 25-30-35 years in country around who still regard me as a johnny come lately with just a decade and a half. Do I get jealous of them just because they can remember when the Field Marshals were running this country? When there was a curfew in Bangkok? Nope.

Jumping Jack, I know nothing about you and really don't need to. I can read your posts and see you are semi-literate. You have about a 6th grade grasp of written English, that rather leaves you out of the professions, or even being an English teacher at a Bangkok private language school. Well, not everyone needs to be a brain surgeon. The world needs ditchdiggers, too.
You started this little petty flame by saying f_ck you! to ME, and now you want to pretend that I'm the transgressor. Who's the one with the personality flaw? Who's the one with "simular" problems?
