No, it wouldnt be enough for all those things, but the original question is it enough to live. And - as I pointed out - if you manage the accommodation and entertainment budget, it's more than enough.
I don't know for sure, but I'd hazard a guess and say that it's more than most BTFers living in Bkk earn.

Some good advice from other bros's here, off course you can live bkk for that type of money, just get a local (to work) apartment for some were arround 15-25K all in.
Bloody hell hands up any single guys that would much rather live in the UK with a few extra quid rather than the delights off Bkk.
One of the hapiest falangs I know is a teacher in Bkk and lives near Soi22, he just loves his life, has a really cute TGF who has a good job and he still manges to go out on a good night out now and again, and he earns 25% of what you do. We hang out on a sturday or sunday afternoon on Soi22 and share a beer and watch the world go round, he says he never wants to go home, money can buy you the delights of BKK but not all of them.
Come and enjoy life is 2 short, re the credit cards, ring them explain that you cant afford to pay etc, they will prob freeze the intrest and allow to pay a small amount every month, a good tip is when you ring them ask to speak to a supervisor and then ask to speak to the supervisors, supervisor they will nearly allways go for the non added intrest option. A mate of mine did this on over £60K of credit card debt and is paying a few quid back a month but at least his debt is not spiraling out of control.

Have posted here, I could live a fairly luxurious life….sometimes I’ll admit it sounds
Tempting….
But...
1) I’m not ready to really retire
2) I have no desire to abandon my current life in the US
3) As some others have mentioned, you can become, if not bored, accustomed to paradise after a while, so that it looses some of its luster
4) Man can not live on sex alone…at least not indefinitely…
5) I am terrible at languages,
6) Although I’ve had three overseas assignments in the military (Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey) I don’t have a taste for most foreign foods...and a lot of domestic ones as Well…!!
7) I go to Bangkok mainly to shop (ok…I know I’m losing points for this one…)
8) I have been going to Thailand once every 2-3 years since my first visit in 1991 (after The first Gulf war) and the novelty still hasn’t worn off. I stay in a different hotel
each time….progressively further and further away from Sukhamvit ( Floraville Serviced Apts this time in November) ….when the novelty does wear off that’s when
I stop going

I say you're financially ready, but not mentally ready.
Try staying say a month or 2 at a time. Then increase that with each visit until you get up to 6/7 months.
If you can take living in Thailand that long without going batty or crawling into a fetal position from being homesick, then make the plunge.

I don't no about UK, but in the USA you can negotiate with a non-profit debt consolidator. They will stop all the late fees, interest etc. and then you pay a little every month for 5-7 years to clear off your debts. Another option in the USA is to ignore your debts and throw all your bills into the garbage. Consequences: Credit ruined for 7-10 years. Cannot buy house, car, etc. But if you deal in cash no problems. If your debt is from several creditors, none will individually purse any court action. Collection agency might bother you but you can tell them to f..k off and not to call you.
