Look, BK, I like your forum and thought I could make constructive contributions, at a level somewhat higher than the routine:
What does NEP stand for?

That university kid from UK OFFENDED me and ought to have done many of your members, he was asking for a guide to visit the Thailand Zoo and treat the girls and the customers like bugs under a microscope. He's not one of us, he wants to sit there in a bar with a notebook or a tape recorder and OBSERVE. I mean if he was just a voyeur that might be OK but he's a SOCIOLOGIST, if you follow me.
Now, if I am totally wrong about my reading of his request, then I am wrong in all that followed.
However I'll be surprised if that's the case.
JJ proceeded to jump in and give me a loud f_ck YOU! which I don't let anyone do as a free shot. Would you?
I've had my say and have better uses for my time than to parry clumsy insults from someone who would need remedial English to get into a decent high school in any English speaking country.
I registered on this board because people were asking about the Domination House I founded 5 years ago and still own. But, actually, I doubt that 0.1% of your members, who generally seem like good sorts, give a damn about SM, and so I have zero commercial ax to grind around here. I hung around because I thought I could be of some help. Instead I get cheap shots from cretins. So, unless anyone knows a reason why not, I think I'll just bid this place goodbye.

A friend of mine did an essay on a related subject.
And his conclusion was nothing like, "lets save the poor girls". And i dont think Snort¥s conclusion will be that either.
He is pretty much the only one in the public debate ,who is speaking up for the girls rights to make the choises ,that they did.

but try not to belittle members with your 'superior knowledge'
some people might not know about places like NEP.
first time i ever visited LOS i never knew about NEP,soi cowboy,patpong etc.
thus after spending 4 nights there i missed visiting these places.
i wish i had the benefit of this board to ask the stupid questions which you find unappealing.
hopefully i might have been given guidance,and not been told i'm asking stupid questions.
everything i write about on this board,i learnt from experience.
i never discovered this board until after my 4th visit to LOS,i wish i had been here beforehand.
to this day,i would not know which is the nearest skytrain station to Nep or cowboy.
i could look through all the archives and i'm sure i will find out eventually.
but just as easily ask the question and i'n sure someone would help.
we are not all 'experts',as you obviously are.
as to your speciality in running a specialist business.
you are probably right in saying that the vast majority of the board members are not that interested in the scene you deal with.
not really my scene,but was interested enough to make an appointment with Mistress Gaow on my last trip,which i had to cancel at the last minute.
yes you have constructive views to make about BKK and i hope you will stay here.
you live there and can be of help with your views/info about your speciality or on LOS in general.
you do not need to respond to other peoples views,just ignore them.
not that i'm getting on at JJ,i feel he is a friend of mine,as are all the board members.
a few months ago i had a hard time from various members over a certain subject and every now and again,it's bought up.
but now we treat it with a laugh and a joke.
it's accepted i have my views and they have theirs.
i'm glad i did'nt get so angry i felt i had to leave the board.
personally i feel i have no real knowledge to really input into this forum.
but i like to post when something which i feel interesting comes up.
you have your place and i have mine,so i hope you stay.
but if you want to go,then there is nothing i or anyone can say to make you stay.
if and when i ever come to BKK again,i would have no problem joining you or anyone for a beer.
we are all here for the same thing.
and perhaps a couple of your girls could join us and come home with me(cheap rate for board members of course)!!!!!!!!.

I have been reading your posts with great interest. You have been a source of good information. Don't bother with the silly little questions about "what is NEP?" and so on. I need a really good FAQ to handle this, and put a link on the top of the forum page for "Newbies to the forum".
If your intention is to answer questions about SM, just click on the "email notification" option when you post under the appropriate thread, and if there is a question in that section you would be notified. Anyway, thanks for your posts and helpful insights.

Strewth guys, remember this IS the Newbies Questions section. Surely someone who is "new" can ask whatver they like, not knowing the answer in advance isn't some kind of crime [mind you, being a soliology student might be  ] BK - can we have a "slagging off" forum? I've just logged onto the board with a amte who is going to Bkk for the first time in a couple of weeks. naturally I took him to the "newbies" section first - some introduction, when all he was hoping for was some constructive info' - try and keep your posts relevent to the topic guys!

I agree that a post in the newbie section is just that and worthy therefore of a helpful response.
I stayed out of this thread but found myself hoping that Snort had been around to respond to that first flame, and it was a flame.
It could well have taken the thread in a completely different and balanced, perhaps helpful discussion.

Come on guys, this is a forum for discussion not for flames. We know how did the flame get birth and after reading some good posts/advises on this thread we better take a beer, cool down ourselves rather than point with the finger whoever was the one who started this thing. JJ CJ maybe non offensive words could help newbies in a good way rather than scare them to post any advise request from the forum in the future.
I agree with WS as he pointed out that THIS IS A FORUM FOR NEWBIES so, we do not need to get angry if questions like "Why does NEP stand for?, or What does ST/LT mean?" appears once in a while. I am sure that BK will improve the FAQ page with a very big LINK to the NEWBIES info so that the fellows who would like to help can re-direct the info requested by any newbie to that LINK. Hope this helps.
