The update on my serviced apartment search:

Checked out a few places around Sathorn/Saladaeng.

Chin House: depressing.
Saladaeng Colonnade: wicker style: and too dark.
Siri Sathorn: very modern style and look great. But way expensive. One bed - 80k; 2 bed 120k.
Marriott Mayfair on Langsuan scheduled to open in March but Marriott rather honestly said do not hold breath - looks like May.
Will check Conrad and look at Sukhumvit next - Somerset Lakepoint or Grand President.
