I am confused as well !! Life is a rollercoaster with a TG - that's for sure.
There is always something else with her. Once we finished her house everything was great for a while, then the demands get more and more...
For an easy life, and for the sake of the kids, she gets what she wants within reason - I don't need a divorce (again ) I don't want a fight in court and I don't want to give up half of everything I have worked my butt off for the past 20 years.
I was really just wanting to know that if she gets this land (apparantly it is a whopping 40 Rai) can I actually prove that she has bought it and owns it.... I don't want to get involved as if they see my ferang fizog the price will go up.

Go with her to the land purchase to make sure she buys it.
Failing that, make sure she understands you will want to verify the validity of the land title with an attorney to make sure she is not being taken to the cleaners.
This last approach might ("might" is the operative word here) make her believe you are looking out for her best interests.

...and why do you think this cycle is not going to repeat once you purchased the land for her... with some bigger and larger demands..?
It sounds like she is gradually taking *you* to the cleaners, unless you are actually getting something out of the relationship (aside from the maid services that she complains about). As has already been pointed out, it seems that you already have sensibly large holdings, which she probably will inherit anyway. It seems that she wants to make sure that *SHE* is well taken care off -- read: that she controls most, if not all, your assets. If that's okay with you, of course, then proceed as intended -- otherwise, you may want to possibly re-examine where you want this to go.
