Assuming (acording to your profile) that's Newcastle as in Geordie-land up North somewhere, then you'll either initially get a 30 day or a 60 day tourist visa. After that you can get a 30 day extension. I'm not aware of a 7 day extension. Of course, the fine for a 7 day overstay (but it'd be 12 days) may be less than the cost of a 30 day extension (1,900B), but the extension won't run the (miniscule) risk of imprisonment/deportation/red stamp in your passport-never come back possibility.
